23-08 - Free skate Clinic - We have free skate rentals in the shop and teachers in the park for you, 13.30-16.00.
24-08 - Vondelcup Main event - Showcasing the skate culture and getting new people involved, start at 12.00.
The VONDELCUP lets you enjoy the versatility of inline skating. Step out of your comfort zone, take on challenges in different disciplines, participate in fun competitions, and collect points to reach the finals. Do you have what it takes to take the VONDELCUP home?
Various disciplines of inline skating are coming together. Whether you are interested in regular, Aggressive, Speed, Slalom, or Flow skating, there is fun for everyone.
Come and watch some of the best skaters in the Netherlands in action. Each discipline has its own final competition to determine who the best skater is.
Join us on Friday for a special edition of the Friday Night Skate. We will make a tour through the city with music!
There are activities for skaters of all levels.
SKATE LESSON FOCUSED ON THE FRIDAY NIGHT SKATE
August 22 / Time: 18:45-19:45 / free / start: 18:30 / This is Soul, Overtoom 327
Do you want to feel safer during an FNS? Then come to our free skate lesson. We focus on adults who can already skate but want to improve their skills. No registration is needed.
If you need rental skates for this then they are available
FRIDAY NIGHT SKATE
August 22 / Time: 20:15-23:00 / free / start: 20:15 / Vondel CS, Vondelpark
Skate through the city with music! We will take you on a tour through the city with Music! This activity is free and suitable for (adult) recreational skaters.
FREE SKATE CLINIC IN VONDELPARK
August 23 / Time: 13:30-16:00 / free / location: Vondelpark
We are organizing an open clinic in the Vondelpark. This clinic is intended for all park visitors, from people who never skated to people who can already do a couple of braking techniques, from 5 to 60 years old. Come by and take part in our activities for free. No registration needed, just walk in!

VONDELCUP MAIN EVENT
August 24 / Time: 12:00-18.00 / free / location: Vondelpark
We invite beginner skaters to the Vondelcup!
This means fun activities on skates for everyone! Join for free and discover the different aspects of inline skating. Don't have skates? You can borrow them from us for free. No registration needed, just come by!
We have teachers at the event location that can help you advance your skating skills. It does not matter for them if you need help with the literal first steps or if you want to learn a complicated manoeuvre.
If you master the basics, then you can dive into the different segments of skating. There is slalom, race, aggressive and flow skating. Try them all!
This year the event will be around the park, with loads of different challenges for all levels.
Meeting spot is our shop on Overtoom 327 at 12.00.
COMPETITIONS
VONDELCUP
Gather points for challenges of all the different skating disciplines: Slalom, Aggressive, Flow Skating and we will even have a race! The person with the most overall points will win a €100 voucher to spend at Thisissoul.
Prize: Thisissoul trophy + €100 voucher
BEST VIDEO (Instagram Reel)
For all the disciplines separately there will also be a competition of the best video. You have to post the video on Instagram and include a special hashtag that will be announced on Sunday at 12.00 at the shop. At 18.00 all the videos have to be posted and we will watch them together at the shop after.

RACE
Get the best time of a special race to win wheels! What is so special about it? The time stops when you stand completely still, so it will also be about stopping very quickly.
