CityLegends helps inline skaters find new spots, share clips, connect with other skaters and compete in challenges worldwide.
Those of us who have been skating for years have always done more or less the
same thing: gone to our local parks, met up with our friends, filmed our best tricks, and then shared them within our social circles.
The arrival of the internet and social media completely changed the game, opening up new
ways to connect and interact, while also expanding the reach of these sports.
Technology and the ways we connect kept evolving, and with that evolution came platforms like CityLegends.
Spotmap
One of the features CityLegends introduces is the Spot Map.
The map categorises and brings together spots from around the world, as long as someone in the community has created them. It’s a digital infrastructure powered by the community itself.
Imagine arriving in a new city with your skates but knowing nothing about the area. You can always go out and explore, but if you’d rather play it safe, with CityLegends you can simply open the Spot Map and see the best, hottest and most visited spots around you.
Each spot includes photos, reviews and a description of the place. This makes it easier to plan a session and head somewhere knowing what you’re going to find.
Users can also interact with the spots themselves by uploading their best clips. The clips with the most community votes are linked to the user considered to “own the spot.”
Connect and Share with Inline Skaters Around the World
Unless you have a very specialised audience, when you share a video from a good session on regular social media, it will usually be seen by friends, family and plenty of other people who aren’t necessarily connected to street sports. There’s nothing wrong with that, but for those looking for a raw, purely street sports-focused experience and feedback from people who actually practise these sports, there are other possibilities.
With CityLegends, 100% of the platform is built around this type of content. When you upload your tricks or sessions, they appear in a general feed that can also be filtered by sport.

Build your feed, connect with other athletes interested in the same things as you, and even compete globally to unlock rewards.
Online competitions
Traditionally, competing meant travelling away from home, spending money on transport and potentially accommodation.
In-person competitions are great, there’s no question about that. But access to them isn’t always as easy.
With CityLegends, if you have a good clip, you can use it to compete in 1v1 battles against other inline skaters around the world. The community decides the winner.
You can also enter inline challenges with different rules, themes and prizes. Imagine winning a challenge sponsored by ThisIsSoul and getting a €50 voucher in the process, for example. Or competing for a larger cash prize, which you can regularly find on the platform.
Want to aim even higher? You can sign up for CityLegends tournaments. These competitions start with qualification rounds before moving into weekly knockout rounds. The community votes, the top 16 move forward, and inliners compete through 1v1 rounds until an overall winner is crowned.
Every challenge and every tournament has a reward for the winners.
